The main purpose of Lanhydrock Cricket Club is to faciliate and enhance the development of the game of Cricket. To provide opportunities to develop skills and maximise potential regardless of age, gender, race, ethnic background, religious belief, sexuality or social / economic status.
Lanhydrock Cricket Club has one of the most picturesque grounds in Cornwall.
Set in the grounds of Lanhydrock House on the outskirts of Bodmin, the cricket club provides a much used facility and with two adult sides and a membership of over 50 in our youth section Lanhydrock is certainly the place to enjoy your cricket.
Lanhydrock Cricket Club was founded in 1863 and currently has two teams affiliated to the Cornwall Cricket League, competing in Division 2 & Division 6 East.
Lanhydrock Cricket Club has representative sides in the Cornwall County Youth League at under 11, 13, 15's for the 2009 Season and provides coaching for youths of all ages.
We currently have 5 qualified ECB Cricket Coaches to help our junior members and an active youth policy that allows players who show ability to progress quickly into our senior sides.
As part of our commitment to safe, effective & child friendly youth cricket, Lanhydrock Cricket Club has adopted the ECB's "Safe Hands - Welfare of Young People in Cricket" policy. We are working with the ECB and have now achieved Clubmark Accreditation.
